What does similar external and internal content mean?

External= Web Matches Internal= Peer Matches

Similar external content just refers to matches that come from the web. The similarity score of a particular web match reflects the matching level between the local submission and the found submission on the web. 


Similar internal content means matches that have been found between files. These are are matches that can only exist between peer files submitted to the engine.
